My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tigger says:
"I'm a handsome, friendly guy who's had a bit of bad luck. My human, dog and I were all on a work assignment and were staying in a motel in Laurel, Md. It was fun, and I was having a great time until the human and dog left. Without me. I was pretty much on my own outside in unfamiliar territory. Thank goodness it was summer and there were lots of mice and the Dumpster was always overflowing.

"A nice man, who was also on a temporary work assignment, started giving me food and inviting me into his room to sleep at night. I loved curling up on the bed to watch TV. I thought we were going to be best friends for life. So you can imagine my surprise when he left, too! But he really cared about me, and he took me to the Howard County Cat Club's group home before he left town.

"The volunteers are very kind here, but I have to admit I'm depressed and lonely. I miss the human who brought me here, and I don't like living with so many cats.

"Would you consider being my forever friend? I mean really forever, not just for a few months. I'd like to be outside all day and maybe come in at night. Or I could be happy living in your garage or barn. I'm great at catching mice!

"If you're looking for a friendly mostly outdoor cat, I hope we can meet. Just contact the Howard County Cat Club to arrange an introduction."
