My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Shiloh: 1 year old, black & tan neutered male, natural ears and tail, 12½" & 12.6 lbs. Micro-chipped, shots up-to-date. Rescued from shelter.
"Hi, I'm Shiloh! My foster mom says I'm a really good boy. She also says I'm a sturdy boy, but I'm not sure what she means. I'm bigger than some little min pins, but that doesn't stop me from snuggling with her on the couch or in bed. I really enjoy sitting on a lap, I don't care which one. So as long as you will let me...we can snuggle all day."
"My foster mom says I'm active. As you can see from some of my photos I like to run and jump. I do like exploring the backyard and playing with all the dog toys! But I also like just sitting too."
"I really like all the other dogs in my foster family. My foster mom doesn't put me in the crate much because I don't like it very much. I talk a lot while in the crate. I don't bark much though, and that's a good thing my foster mom says."
"I am learning a lot of new things: like how to wait my turn to eat, not jumping on the big table, learning to ride in the car and MOST IMPORTANT staying away from the front door when my foster mom goes in and out!"
"I have learned to use the doggie door to do my business outside. I am a happy guy, I like going for walks and hanging out. I'm sure I'd like a forever home that has other dog friends to play with, and probably some kids who would like to play with me."
Note from my foster mom: Shiloh appears to be good with cats, he just wants to play with them. We believe with extended time together he would learn to leave them alone if they don't play back. We also think he would be good with kids that are gentle and dog friendly.
Note: Shiloh is located in Sacramento, CA and we will not fly this boy.
