My story

Hello! My name is Mowgli, inspired by the story of The Jungle Book. I’ve been an orphan in California for over a year and I’m currently being fostered in Washington State. I have an AMAZING little personality. I am great with other dogs and cats, know basic commands and make the funniest noises when accepting a treat, they are my favorite! I smile from ear to ear and wag my tail all the time. I don’t mind being in a crate, just a small treat is all I need. I’m great at keeping your feet warm, and I sleep the entire night! I travel well in a car, just put me in my crate and Im ready to go! I am fully crate trained, but prefer to sleep in your bed. If you are a couch potato, I will be happy to sleep near you. If you like to play, I love squeaky toys! I am a little sensitive to loud noises, and turn my head sideways when the television is on. Come see me and I know you will fall in love.
Mowgli is approximately 2 years old. He is up to date on all shots, is neutered, and has a microchip. We think he is a fun mix of schnauzer and yorkie terrier.

Mowgli's adoption donation is $325. Love A Mutt Pet Rescue is a 501c3 public charity and all monies go to help other dogs in need. We cannot guarantee breed or temperament of the dogs...they are rescues and their history is unknown. It will be up to the owner to love and train the dog to make him/her into the dog of their dreams.
