My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I am looking for a home for my very much loved jack russell. My doctor has given me a very short time to live, and this sweet dog has been with me 8 years, helping me through my illness, bringing me more happiness and loyal love than I could have ever imagined. If you even just know of any leads where I can find a good home for him, that would help so much. He is very breed specific in the way he has to be treated. Lots of praise. It crushes his pride to be yelled at which only happened once then immediate apology and love. He is 8 1/2 years old. He is a tall jack with smooth coat. Black head with tan markings on face. White body. When I travel out of town and have someone feed and walk him twice a day, he loves the walks but will barely eat the whole time I\'m gone. So he will take a little time to get used to me not there. But he loves people so If he is given lot of attention and praise at first especially, I think he will adjust pretty quick. It is tearing me up to think of giving him up and will try to keep him as long as possible, but that is probably only going to be 2 months or so and maybe sooner. That is why I\'m not sure if you want jacks that are immediately available for adoption. He is clever and enjoys learning tricks. He would be better at that if I hadn\'t been sick his whole life. He still likes learning and doesn\'t seem like a middle age dog, more like a young frisky, happy, playful dog who loves to tease you, make you laugh, he always has some new way of doing that. He is so inventive. I just don\'t want him to go to anyone who won\'t treat him as a jack needs to be treated. He gets along with cats he lives with, and loves adults, he\'s not around children so I\'m not sure, and loves playing with other dogs.
His name is Jack but I always have also called him Sweet Peas because of his sweet personality.
Thank you for your time.So if you know of anyplace to help or anyone to help my sweet Jack, please let me know at this email address - howardsherry@rocketmail.com.
