My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi I am Joey a 4yr old neutered male. I am a small boy about 40#. Right now I am on medical hold.

On December 10th, my owner took me to the Pinellas County Animal Control and said " I am sick of this dog, kill it" The shelter cleaned me up (I was really dirty) and fixed me up and 8 days later I was rescue by a very nice lady. My foster mom took me to the vet and they x-rayed me. I broke a piece of bone on the outside socket of my front left elbow. (My foster mom does not know if I was kicked or got hit by a car - I was limping) No surgery necessary and the vet says that I will be good as new in about 30 days. I am wearing a soft bandage, on pain meds and healing.

I am a sweet, well mannered boy. I get along with other dogs, cats and children. With some good food my coat will soon be shiny again. I ride well in the car, am up to date on all my shots and heartworm NEGATIVE! Please adopt me...I will be your best friend ever!!
