My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Delilah is a 16 month old mantle marked female with natural ears currently weighing 85 pounds. She is the sweetest dog I've ever fostered. Delilah is very skinny after losing weight due to a Giardia infection. She is finished with the medications and will be working on putting on the weight back on that she lost. Delilah is your typical Velcro Dane never letting me leave a room without her. She craves attention and has to be right next to her person at all times. Delilah bonds to people very quickly and will rely on you for guidance. She can be timid but it takes only a few moments to convince her to say hi and get some loves. She loves everybody, men, women and children. She's fine with dogs of all sizes but prefers a male to female. A submissive female would probably be fine. She tends to try to referee or stay completely out of the way of rowdy play. She's surprisingly laid back and loves to lay with me all day on lazy days. She is crate trained and will sleep in there at night if made to. I don't crate her when I leave her and she doesn't bother anything. She will perk her ears up at the cats but will not chase. She has no formal obedience training but she does understand no, come, her name and stay. We will be working on that the longer she is with me. She would be best for someone home a lot or someone who can take her with them while they are gone. She is very people oriented and wouldn't do well left alone for long periods of time. Everyone who meets Delilah is immediately in love with her. She is so sweet and has so much love to give she deserves an amazing family of her own.
