***UPDATE 12-27-13*** Sweet Charley is still patiently waiting for his forever home. Charley Bear is almost 2 years old and weighs 15 pounds. He is very affectionate, has a wonderful disposition, loves to play and loves to please. We continue to work on socializing. His confidence has really improved when meeting people. Many times Charley will now go up to someone he has not met seeking attention. Charley will make the right person/family a wonderful and very loyal companion for life. ********** Meet the adorable and very handsome Charley Bear. Charley, a wirehaired dachshund, is very sweet, a bit timid, but, he has come a long way in gaining confidence since being in rescue. Charley Bear loves to cuddle, play fetch, go for walks and car rides. We are working with him on his confidence. He is doing very well with his house training and he does not mark. Charley Bear's ideal COLORADO home will consist of dachshund savvy adults that are low-key, consistent and willing to continue his socialization. Another small, confident, playful dog is a must as is a fenced yard. Charley Bear is fully vetted and microchipped. A completed adoption application is required to meet any of our rescued dogs.
