My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

It's always a stressful situation when one family member feels that its time for their dog to be rehomed. This is especially the case when the dog is so loved by the other members of the family. Moose is an adorable, smart and very engaging Labradoodle. He's just a pup at 7 months old and with gentle but consistent guidelines, Moose has the ability to be an exceptional family companion. His current family described him this way: "Sweet sweet sweet and oh so smart is this 7 mo. old Labradoodle. We are sadly too busy....my husband and I are both attending school and we also have 3 small children.... to give Moose the love and care he needs. If we could possibly manage it we would definitely keep him! He is absolutely...no question about it... the best and sweetest dog ever. He would do very well in a home with other dogs, children, and lots of room to run and play. A family dedicated to Moose and his well-being would provide him with lots of exercise and fun. A long hike in the Colorado mountains would make Moose the happiest guy around. I'm also absolutely certain that positive-reinforcement training classes would make him the best dog ever! He loves to please but we've just never had the time to consistently work with him. Moose absolutely has the intellect of the Poodle and therefore the ability and desire to learn everything. He responds to hand signal commands for sit and lie down, and (most of the time) stay. He responds extremely well to vocal commands like "off" "bed" "eat your food" and "home". He really is the most lovable and cooperative dog ever and his greatest joy ever would be to be a cuddly and snuggly 55 lb lap dog!"
Moose is the product of a purebred Lab and a purebred Poodle...such an amazing combination of fun, play and amazing intellect. He is a shedding guy (not to the point of a Lab but not hypoallergenic like a Poodle) and is therefore not suggested for those who suffer from serious allergy concerns. With consistent baths, brushing and great nutrition, Moose's shedding can be brought to a minimum level.
We are currently accepting applications for this exceptional Doodle. He'll be arriving in Denver on Wednesday 11/27 and would be overjoyed at the prospect of a family who will truly love and care for him for life. Feel free to call Farfel's Rescue at 303-443-7722 if you're interested in this exceptional family companion.
