KImber was adopted by a lady that pushed him way past his limit right after adoption trying to create the dog she wanted all in an instance
He now has some fear aggression which he did not have before adoption as well as a little resource guarding which he only had the very first week once after we got him
He has never bitten nor nipped the foster ever but in the wrong inexperienced and pushing hands he could just like any other dog
He is only looking for a alpha good leader in a quiet setting with a single woman preferred that has had or is willing to work with him no matter what it may take
most of all it takes patience and some knowledge
He's a very loving dog but because he was always an outside dog in prev. home does not know how to correctly deal with situations inside the home
getting pulled around by the collar etc is not the way nor rolling him on his back
he had to endure a lot for 2 months w. previous adopter that thought she knew all and did totally ignore what we told her she should be doing
we are not looking to place him in such a home
nor an inexperienced person that has no clue and is only looking of how handsome he looks
approved adopter can have questions answered by foster herself
we will be of service for life with our suggestions and knowledge to help KImber adjust in yet another home
He will stay here until that right person is found
Kimber had zero issues for a month at the pound nor the 6 weeks he was with us before adoption
When I met him first he seemed just a little tad fearful like all dogs do when they are moved and confused
he let us do anything including putting a harness on by two strangers
He also slept a night at the transporters home without any issues
the issues arise in most dogs from being overwhelmed in a new home and put into too many strange situations right away and giving too much freedom right away
The next home must be a forever home

KImber would do just fine living the hermit lifestyle without all the crazy actions of this world
Kimber is a wonderful mellow easy loving very deserving boy, he's around 4-5 yrs old and weighs 30 pounds but you would never know as he's tall and lean fully vetted clean flea free and ready for a superloving forever family or as a companion to a younger retired couple or woman as he seems to adore woman over man
We are only looking for a relaxed down to earth type person that's not uptight
we are not adopting any dogs by looks but everything has to be a good match
We are only looking for a dog experienced adult home a fenced yard a must and someone home
a young retired person or couple that is looking for a lifetime best buddy
someone that knows how to treat and show respect for animals if they want to receive that back
He's just fine as only dog or another older mellow dog his size or smaller larger is fine too
Kimber loves yummy treats and be petted and snuggle once he has bonded which does not take but a few days
He's crate trained, super on leash, great in the car too an overall very easy boy to have around
He knows basic commands
Has a very long coat but had to be totally shaved because of owner neglect totally filthy and matted we have BEFORE pics
at the shelter he was confused as a Lhaso Apso but truly anyone that knows the Tibetan Terrier can see that's what he looks like size and all fits very well
he may do well around cats too as he's mellow so easily trained, a daily walk or two is all he needs with lots of love and yummy food
He's an adults companion and more of a womans dog
he original family left him outside 24/7 though there where kids and other dogs we don't know details
He is fully housetrained now and can be left inside for a few hours though he loves the yard
dog door would suit him great so he can have both when people are gone for a few hours
Kimber will be fine with a visiting respectful child once settled in and introduced the right way but no toddlers not screaming wild running kids
Kimber will be fine in a quiet neighborhood but he's not much on meeting new people on his daily walks as people wanna stop looking at the handsome fluffy boy ready to pet he prefer not too as he gets a bit timid if they move too fast towards him so outskirts of city perfect as he's fostered in similar area now
He had not had much stranger interaction in prev. life but is fine with calm loving folks that sit next to him and let him come up when he's ready
He met many staff at shelter no problems there after he had adjusted being there but was totally scared first few days
he has been fine with us here as well
he slept one night at the transporters home did wonderful there
He will make a great companion for the right down to earth person
He loves to cuddle in your lap an easy easy mellow loving boy looking for same in his human no uptight people that are looking to complete their own perfection
