Could be trained as Therapy dogs loves all people young and old
Henry is a handsome lanky tall boy at 68 pounds, about 2 yrs old, about 65 tall lanky pounds,healthy coat that is reddish with black tips
he's a very handsome boy big personality, great companion for hiking camping snuggling
no hang ups greets all people as friends
he gets along with with all large friendly dogs of either gender, he loves to romp and rough house with other dogs and play rope toys
If no other dog at home someone must be home during the day and have a few weekly playdates with other friendly dogs or take him to doggie daycare/dog park etc
Henry loves the snow so also could be a fun dog in snow country
as well as a great beach dog watching him run with those long fast legs
he does not have any hangups that we noticed
If kids at home one or two respectful older children over 8 yrs would be fine he loved the kids we met while socializing and with some gentle kids he would be just fine he has no aggression issues so in a dog experienced home with one or two nice kids he would love that attention and playing fetch
he's a easy and well behaved dog and really wants to please his people a dog easy to fall in love with
he likes to lay his head in your lap and done so with total strangers
he's such a beautiful dog inside and out
we are only looking for the best of best homes for him someone that has lots of love to give active and fun to take him places and make him part of the family
He would most likely be too much around a cat so a catfree home best but in a very dog experienced home could be trained as he wants to please we saw a chipmonk on our walk he wanted to go after it but a simple ahhh no and he listened just fine
He prances when he walks very cute have video of it on our site
He is a super friendly, who always has a bounce in his step but also well behaved
Henry has a super outgoing, happy, joyous personality. He just wants to bounce and play and have a good time.
He would make a great running and hiking companion!
Henry is absolutely fantastic at fetch, he brings that ball right back and drops it a your feet, ready for another round. He can also catch the ball in mid-air and is so proud of himself when he does that.
This handsome boy gets along great with other dogs and just loves to play. We haven't seen him around small dogs; he might be a little intimidating due to his height.
Henry rides super in car, good on leash, sits for treats, real smart lots of eye contact
