It'€™s my turn for love
My name is Cali and I'€™m a 3 year old fawn Great Dane. My owners surrendered me to Forever Friends Great Dane Rescue because they moved and could no longer provide for me. I had to adjust to my new foster home, but I must say I love it!
I'€™m a bossy girl and I like to be in charge. I'€™ve been known to put my foster siblings in place from time to time. My foster home says I'€™m a 'dominant female'€%9D and that I like to test my boundaries! I would prefer to be an '€œonly'€%9D four-legged kid or have another non-dominant Giant four-legged sibling. I was attacked by a small dog and now I don'€™t trust them and my anxiety is too high around them. I can'€™t go to a home with small dogs or cats and I must be on a leash and controlled around small animals. I'€™m getting better with it but I still don'€™t want to be around them. I need an experienced adopter who will not let me get away with things and will continue to work with me. I have had a lot of training and I know sit, down, stay and the dreaded no word. I walk REALLY well on a leash and love to go for walks! Since I'€™m young, I'€™m still active and love to play. I do enjoy family time and can calm down and lay at my human'€™s feet for hours! My foster momma says I'€™m a big cuddly sweetheart!
I'€™m up to date on all my vaccinations, spayed and current on heartworm and flea preventative. I am house trained and crate trained as well!
