My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Piper is the cutest little guy and so personable...just look at that face! He is a great mix of Dachshund, Corgi and Chihuahua. He is about five months old and weighs seven pounds.

Piper is mostly black with the cutest speckled face and paws. He is chipped, neutered and up to date with vaccinations. He is great with kids, cats and other dogs.

Piper loves to go for walks and is good on a leash. His other favorite things are to play with his two foster home sisters, chew on his plastic bone and explore outside. He loves his humans and is a major cuddle bug.

Piper is very smart and ready to learn. He is crate trained and learning to sit. He will soon be potty trained and is beginning to signal by going to the back door.

He was rescued when it was discovered his mother and litter mates were being kept outside in the cold Phoenix winter. Now Piper would love a home with kind, fun humans, a backyard and if possible another dog with which to play.
