Striker's Story...
Look at this happy guy!

This is Striker, a 7 year old male Pomeranian mix. They don't get much cuter than this!! Striker came to rescue as his family, through no fault of Striker, no longer wanted him. He was being kept in a cold barn and is now looking for a nice, warm home to call his own.

Striker is very energetic and loves to play. He is great with kids and does well with other small dogs. We're not sure how he is with large dogs. Striker is not potty trained yet, but his foster family is working very hard to break him of this as soon as possible. Striker is up to date on all his shots and will be neutered within days. If you have room in your home for Striker, he is anxiously awaiting to hear from you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Striker, a Council Bluffs Pomeranian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian for sale in Council Bluffs, or seeking a Pomeranian dog from a breeder in Council Bluffs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Council Bluffs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Council Bluffs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian breeders who help with Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Council Bluffs paves the way for another one to be saved.
