Austin's Story...
Handsome Austin is a 1 yr old, 15 lb Maltipoo who really should be renamed to Romeo! He is an absolute sweetheart! Austin is housebroken, very affectionate and is great with kids. He's also a real goofball and really loves to take long walks/runs although he needs some leash training to learn his manners when meeting other dogs on leash. He does have a little bit of separation anxiety, but he's not destructive, just a little bit of whining when his person leaves and definitely the type of dog to enjoy being by your side. Austin would do best in a home without cats. He also enjoys a swan dive so we recommend NO unfenced pools. Can you give this gorgeous boy the home he deserves?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Austin, a Encino Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Encino, or seeking a Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Encino.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Encino already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Encino breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Encino paves the way for another one to be saved.
