My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Perry is a very shy standard schnauzer especially around men until he gets to know you. At that point he is a very active and high energy pup. He loves to play with other dogs and toys. He will do really well with a family that will take him on walks and play to get his energy out. He really loves to play and run with other dogs, smaller or larger. He will be a delightful addition to any active family.


Perry is a 3 1/2 yr old STANDARD Schnauzer that was surrendered to us by a loving family as life got in the way. He is neutered, vetted, house trained and crated trained. He will see our vet this week for a check up and get a microchip. He is a little shy when he first meets you but will warm up. He does appear to prefer women and kids but comes around to men with patience. As we get to know Perry better we will update his profile. Perry will be able to go to his new forever home on or after 12-17-13

We require home visits, prefer a fenced yard and at least one group obedience class for our dogs. Placements will be done where our volunteers can do a home visit in Missouri, Kansas, Iowa and Nebraska only.
