Lily's Story...
Lily is a precious little kitten with spunk, energy, intelligence and curiosity. If she sounds like the kind of kitten that will steal your heart in a second and hold onto to it for years, then she may be the one for you.

Lily came to BARC with a fractured jaw at the tender age of 4 weeks. Facing certain death, she was rescued by Friends for Life and had her jaw wired so it could heal. All of that has not slowed her down one bit.

One more thing about Lily…she has a Siamese voice that she likes to use except when she is purring loudly enough to be heard on the next block.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lily, a Houston Siamese kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siamese for sale in Houston, or seeking a Siamese kitten from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siamese breeders who help with Siamese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
