Kensi's Story...
Kensi girl here. I am a fairly loyal gal here at the shelter. I tend to follow staff members around and love to be seen. I might come off as a little nervous in my cage. I am just not sure I like to be stuck in a small like black cage. Nope...I am more of the roaming world type girl. I love the open spaces and being able to explore the great outdoors. The shelter thinks that I am between one and two years old. I am still fairly young and have a lot of energy to explore the world with hopefully a new family. Could that new family be you?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kensi, a Sidney Labrador Retriever/Mountain Cur dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Mountain Cur for sale in Sidney, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Mountain Cur dog from a breeder in Sidney.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sidney already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sidney breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Mountain Cur breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Mountain Cur rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sidney paves the way for another one to be saved.
