Archie's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, in need of an experienced adopter, rideable, up to date with shots, and good with kids.

Archie's Story...
Archie is a 10 yr old 14.3 hand purebred Arabian gelding who was confiscated from his abusive owners in southern California last year. Archie was gelded at 9 yrs old and spend quite a lot of time at the shelter getting better. After months went by and no one wanted him , he was slated for euthanasia so we stepped up for him last minute save. Archie has been started under saddle and lunges, ties, loads, farrier friendly. He cannot co exist with other male horses however. He will fight with them. He still thinks he is a stallion. He has a pretty nice disposition and wants to please. He is higher energy though, so if you aren't a fan of Arabians keep looking.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Archie, a Olivehurst Arabian was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Arabian for sale in Olivehurst, or seeking a Arabian from a breeder in Olivehurst.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Olivehurst already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Olivehurst breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Arabian breeders who help with Arabian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Olivehurst paves the way for another one to be saved.
