Ethan's Story...
Meet Ethan! Ethan is a male neutered 8 month old Shep/Hound Mix who was rescued from a high kill shelter down south.

He's this wonderful little stove top heating coil just waiting for your to turn him on! A bit shy coming out of his kennel, Ethan slowly but surely started to smile, give out hand kisses, wiggle and then jiggle on his back as he soaked up the attention and the smell of fresh grass. A super sweet, gentle fellow even though he can be a bit shy out of the blocks, he was STILL able to give back to another pet on the walk who was even more shy. He would gently nudge and try to engage his walking partner and make him feel at ease. Ethan is on the cusp of pet greatness and YOU, yes you could be the one who cracks open that door and leads him down the path to the perfect full time pet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ethan, a Kimberton Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever for sale in Kimberton, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Kimberton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kimberton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kimberton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kimberton paves the way for another one to be saved.
