My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ranger is an approximately 3 month old Great Pyrenees mix that will be vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, dewormed, and started on heartworm prevention before going into his new home. He is much smaller than Epic and will be on the smaller size of the breed. Please read up on livestock guarding dogs to ensure that this unique style of dog will suit your lifestyle.

Ranger is less cautious then his sister around new people and has really come out of his shell. He is less independent than his sister and enjoys spending time with his human and doggy foster family. They were both underweight and wormy when they first came to us and have been dewormed and are gaining weight. He is not as bossy about sharing his food and bones as she is, but is still working on trusting humans around his food and bones. He needs an educated home that is willing to help him learn that a human is the provider of food and won't deprive him of food ever again. Because of this tendency, we are looking for an adult only home. We do not believe he would be good with little dogs or cats.

He is a calm and sweet dog that needs a yard to lounge in and someone that wants to take a dog for leisurely walks when he is old enough. He is crate trained and doggy door trained and is reliably housebroken for his age. He is a sweet puppy that has some puppy baggage but will do well with the right owner. His adoption fee is $250 plus a $17.99 microchip registration fee.
