My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Epic is an approximately 3 month old Great Pyrenees mix that will be vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, dewormed, and started on heartworm prevention before going into her new home. Please read up on livestock guarding dogs to ensure that this unique style of dog will suit your lifestyle.

Epic was cautious around new people but is learning that humans are kind and gentle. She is more independent than her brother but still enjoys spending time with her human and doggy foster family. They were both underweight and wormy when they first came to us and have been dewormed and are gaining weight. She is not comfortable sharing her bones with other dogs and is still working on trusting humans around her food and bones as well. She needs an educated home that is willing to help her learn that a human is the provider of food and won't deprive her of food ever again. Because of this tendency, we are looking for an adult only home. We do not believe she should go into a home with little dogs or cats.

She is a calm and pleasant dog that needs a yard to lounge in and someone that wants to take a dog for leisurely walks when she is old enough. She is crate trained and doggy door trained and is reliably housebroken for her age. She is a sweet puppy that has some puppy baggage but will do well with the right owner. Her adoption fee is $250 plus a $17.99 microchip registration fee.
