Odin's Story...
Odin is a sweet 2 year old Chocolate Lab/Standard Poodle mix. You can call him a big Labradoodle. He was surrendered to the shelter because his family had a change in lifestyle and didn't have time for him. This friendly fellow loves kids but plays rough so they should be older. Odin is cautious with other dogs and has never been around cats. His former family thinks it's best that he be an only pet. He is crate trained and was always crated when no one was home. He gets a little nervous and may potty in the house when he is left by himself. When outside he could definitely use a fenced in yard. Odin is a nice big boy that loves rides in the car, playing with family members, going for walks and just running around the yard. If you're looking for just one big dog to love, check out Odin.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Odin, a Elyria Labradoodle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labradoodle for sale in Elyria, or seeking a Labradoodle dog from a breeder in Elyria.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elyria already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elyria breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labradoodle breeders who help with Labradoodle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elyria paves the way for another one to be saved.
