Pretty Girl's Story...
Hey Pretty Girl Wanna Take You Home . . .

Yes, those are lyrics from a country song by Kip Moore. But they are also the words I want most to hear.

My name is Pretty Girl and I lost my home when my people moved to a place that doesn’t allow cats. Losing the only home I ever knew has left me scared & confused, so I am slow to warm up to new people and situations. If you take the time to make me feel safe and secure, I will reward you with affection. I love to talk and enjoy attention, as long as it is on my terms. I am not much of a lap cat, but will sit near you or rub against your legs when I want you to pet or brush me. I am a bit of a diva, but my foster Mom says I am also funny, entertaining, and sometimes a bit of a flirt. I am 9 yrs old, spayed, and declawed. A quiet, adults only home where I am the only pet would be just perfect, but I could learn to live with another quiet, respectful cat.

All adoptable pets have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. For more information about adoption, please contact Camp Companion at 507-951-7801, www.campcompanion.org, or find us on Facebook!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pretty Girl, a Rochester Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Rochester, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Rochester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester paves the way for another one to be saved.
