Peanut's Story...
Peanut was surrendered to Friendship because his family didn't have time for him. He's a gentle boy that loves kids. He's a little nervous around men but once he gets to know them he's fine. Peanut likes other pets. He's playful with cats and likes dogs once he gets to know them. This cutie pie was very loving towards his family. He's an active boy too that will chew on objects if he is left alone too long in the house. Peanut is only 1.5 years old and has a lot of loving and living yet to do. Stop by and see cute Peanut!

If you have kid and or/dogs in your family and you are interested in adopting a Friendship dog, please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peanut, a Elyria Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Elyria, or seeking a Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Elyria.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elyria already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elyria breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elyria paves the way for another one to be saved.
