MeeMee's Story...
I am MeeMee and I am sure you have already seen my sister DeeDee, but I am the prettier one with more black spots on my back and a more solid black face. I am about 6 months old (as of October 2013), and I weigh in just at 25 pounds like my sister. I was rescued from a kill shelter in Georgia, and I am ready to find my forever home. I would love a fenced in backyard to run around in. I love playing in the leaves! I have played with my sister my whole life so I am ok with other dogs. I have a sweet, loving personality and would love to come home with you today.

Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

MeeMee, a Cambridge Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Cambridge, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Cambridge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cambridge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cambridge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cambridge paves the way for another one to be saved.
