My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Wookie! Wookie is a 2 year old Tibetan Spaniel / Pekingese who weighs about 15 lbs. This guy is awesome! He is such a joy to have around his foster home. He is so happy and playful all the time, but he also loves his naps! Wookie is housetrained and iis excellent with other dogs, but he can get grouchy if they come too close to his food dish, we have been feeding the dogs separately and there is no issue there. He seems to be ok with cats but we can do a more thorough cat test if you have one. Wookie loves to scratch his back on the carpet and make wookie noises (see video for a cute overload). He likes to chase squeaky toys as well. He is constantly unloading the toy box! Wookie loves everyone he meets, even letting strangers pick him up and handle him. He has been a real hit at the dog park making friends with both dogs and people, and everywehre we go people just have to stop and say hello to him. He loves car rides and would even love to accompany you on your daily errands (weather permitting). Wookie walks very well on a leash and is a great dog all around! Would you like to meet him?

Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
