Grady's Story...
This adorable little guy is Grady, a two year old Cocker Spaniel and Dachshund mix. He is a pint size guy with a huge personality! He does well with other dogs, cats and does not a pint sized human either. He enjoys lots of attention and if there is a squeaky toy involved he promises a good time. Grady is not only fun, but he is also intelligent. He knows a few basic commands like "sit" and "down" and is eager to learn many more. If you are in need of a well rounded companion, he may be just who you have been searching for. Take a moment to get to know him!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Grady, a Muskegon Cocker Spaniel/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel/Dachshund for sale in Muskegon, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Muskegon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Muskegon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Muskegon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel/Dachshund breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Muskegon paves the way for another one to be saved.
