My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Orca, a 1-year-old, 47lb female Pit mix, was found starving and dehydrated in Solano Canyon. After a month of recuperating, she is flourishing! Super friendly, affectionate and playful, she loves all dogs and people (including kids!), but does not do well with cats. She knows basic training and is very responsive to corrections; she aims to please her human companions. She's even picked up potty training rather quickly after moving into her foster home and will go to the front door to let you know she has to go! She also passed her temperament test with FLYING colors!!

She's had some cosmetic work done (cyst and front chipped tooth removed), but this definitely doesn't diminish how beautiful she is. Since she loves people, it would be ideal to find her a home where she spends lots of time with the family and goes on nice walks/hikes and outside adventures. She walks great on leash and has a medium energy level. She is a sweet and very loving girl who is so deserving of a family to call her own.
