Captain's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Captain's Story...
Captain is an 8yr old golden retriever/chow mix and one of the cutest dogs we have ever met! We love him and he will make an amazing addition to ANY family for sure! Captain is neutered, fully vaccinated (including rabies), dewormed and microchipped. Captain loves dogs, likes cats but cannot be trusted with chickens or water fowl. (So we were told but we haven't seen anything that would be worrisome) He came into a local shelter with a tennis ball size tumor on his Right knee cap. It was removed and it was biopsied and was NOT cancer. While he was at the shelter he began to chew on it so Rescue 4 All was asked to take him because he needs his leg rewrapped daily. He is a model patient and just lays still while he gets his leg soaked and wrapped. He is a happy dog and loves attention and people. He loves to cuddle and he SO SO soft!

He is in foster care in Spokane, WA

This boy deserves and loving home....won't you be the one?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Captain, a Spokane Golden Retriever/Chow Chow dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Chow Chow for sale in Spokane, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Chow Chow dog from a breeder in Spokane.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Spokane already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Spokane breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Chow Chow breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Chow Chow rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Spokane paves the way for another one to be saved.
