Quinn's Story...
Quinn is a super cute Chihuahua who is approximately 3 years old. He has the most beautiful black rimmed eyes. Quinn was going to be euthanized the day we saved him because he was scared in the shelter and growled at someone. Quite typical of small dogs in the shelter environment. Since being out, he has blossomed into a very loving boy. He can be a bit protective of the person he loves. I would recommend a home without small children. Otherwise he loves to snuggle and curl up in your lap and he will dance on his back legs for a treat. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, to include rabies, microchipped, Heartworm negative and on preventative. His adoption fee is $150. If your interested in meeting Quinn, fill out the adoption application at http://www.doubleerescueranch.com/Adopting.html

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Quinn, a Kempner Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Kempner, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Kempner.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kempner already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kempner breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kempner paves the way for another one to be saved.
