My story

My name is Buddy. I am a black n white cocker boy about 6 1/2 to 7 years old. My adopted brother Eddie and I were looking for a new home because our owners gave us up due to a divorce. It was sad for them and us too, as we had a great life together, were very loved and they took good care of us. In April of 2009, I came to CCR with a brother and then he found his forever home, but I had heartworms and needed treatment. I did well with my recovery and then I got adopted to this great home.

I am dog social, heartworm negative, somewhat house trained, loving, people and child social. In the latter part of 2009, Eddie was adopted from CCR too, after my family lost a senior cocker and they decided that maybe we all needed a new friend and a buddy to love. Turns out, Eddie was a wonderful addition to my family. We were the best of pals, had a great life together and then our world turned upside down and we ended up back in rescue and looking for a home. After a couple of months the X-husband dearly missed us and came back to get us. But, things didn't work out and he could only keep one of us......it was a hard decision for him and he was heartbroken. I am now back in rescue and looking for a new forever home again.
