Have you met our beautiful little lady Chelsea? Please don't think to yourself, "oh, she's just another pit bull". Chelsea is such a wonderful little girl that deserves just as much attention as everyone else. She is a 7 1/2 year old pit that came to us from such awful circumstances. We assisted in removing Chelsea and several other dogs from a residence that was raided by the federal authorities for criminal activity including dog fighting. Chelsea was tied to a tree with heavy chains hanging around her neck when she was rescued, and she has the scars to tell the tail of a life of misery. Chelsea's legs have been broken at some point but she gets around just fine. She has some arthritis, but she is just so happy to be living a normal, safe life now that she doesn't let anything get her down. This little lady is so unbelievably sweet, friendly, outgoing, loving and affectionate. How can she be this way after all she's been through? We don't know either. But we adore her and are thrilled to see her playing with toys, sleeping on warm blankets, eating good meals, and making so many friends. Chelsea is a perfect little lady that would make a wonderful addition to any loving, caring family. She would prefer a home with no other pets, but she just loves people.
