Mr.Peanut is a sweet little guy who is really starting to come out of his shell! He is small (about 10 lbs. and gaining weight), brown, looks a little like a fox.... and extremely cute! He really likes the outdoors and is curious about almost everything. Mr. Peanut is a 2-year-old Corgi/Chihuahua mix, and is a little shy right now but will warm up to you in no time! This love bug gets along well with other dogs too. So, if you're looking for a small snuggle buddy to add to your life, Mr. Peanut is the fur-baby for you! He is currently being fostered in Pasadena, MD.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mr. Peanut, a Frederick Corgi dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Corgi for sale in Frederick, or seeking a Corgi dog from a breeder in Frederick.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Frederick already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Frederick breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Corgi breeders who help with Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Frederick paves the way for another one to be saved.
