Estrella - I do not shed!'s Story...
Estrella is about 3-years-old; she was given to a family who loved her dearly, but had to surrender her only because they were over the legal limit of 3 dogs. She lived in the house, with four other small dogs, loves to play, is great with children (even toddlers), is submissive, but not shy, loves to walk on a leash and walks like a "big dog.” She is small but hearty, and can go walking and even hiking. She loves all dogs, big, and small, and can even go to dog park. Estrella has been spayed, vaccinated and micro-chipped and is at the No Kill L.A. Adoption Center. Whoever adopts Estrella is getting a really great dog, very smart and calm!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Estrella - I do not shed!, a Los Angeles Bichon Frise/Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bichon Frise/Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Bichon Frise/Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bichon Frise/Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Bichon Frise/Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
