Girl + Midget = Gidget. If you want a lot of love in a small package, she’s the girl for you. Like Sandra Dee’s Gidget, she’s looking for love and will fall head over tail if you open your heart to her. Her athletic prowess isn’t surfing, but she enjoys a ride on my shoulder and will purr away if you let her hang out there. The first six months of Gidget’s life were on the street and now she adores her domestic surroundings. She and her brother Herbie were trapped for SNR (Spay-Neuter-Return) but I decided to give them a chance for a better life. She is extremely trusting and gentle, although her kittenhood conditioned her to respond to sudden loud noise by running for cover. So I don’t think a household with young children would be appropriate.
Gidget needs a new home because she is intimidated by the other dominating cat personalities in the household. She would like to get her share of affection, which isn’t currently possible since there are too many cats in the apartment, and I am trying to find homes for some of them, too. She would go to a single-cat household or could be adopted along with her brother Herbie Gidget gets along with other cats, but would need a slow introduction.
