Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We think "stunning" best describes our big boy Blake. Don't you? Blake is a gorgeous 5 year old shepherd that would love a great home of his own. He came to us from our Newark facility and was adopted out once, but was returned for being too protective of his owner. Like many large breeds, Blake bonds well with his family and can tend to get overly protective of them. An experienced owner will know how to correct this and Blake is so smart, that we are confidant that this behavior can be corrected. Blake is incredibly well behaved and was trained well at some point in his life. Although he is strong, he walks perfectly on a leash and will stop, sit, and lay down when asked. Blake also will offer you a paw shake if you ask him, and he makes friends very easily. Blake has no aggressive tendencies as far as food, toys, etc. goes. He is playful but gentle, and very loving and affectionate. Blake doesn't seem to mind some dogs and he would do best in a home with no small children under the age of 10. This big, beautiful boy is so deserving of a fresh start in life. Please help to make his dreams of a wonderful home come true. File#23011 10/27/13
