My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Take one look at my picture, and it won’t take you long to figure out why my name is Liz. With my glossy black hair and big, soulful eyes, I am definitely the dog world’s version of that glamorous Miss Taylor (okay so actually I am a Flat-coated Retriever). I am about five years old and only about 33 pounds. I need to put on some weight – evidently I was not being fed properly by my previous family. I am really struggling right now to figure out what is going on. One minute I was with my family, and then the next minute they took me to a shelter and left me. They didn’t tell them anything about me, or why they were leaving me. Everyone at the shelter (and AGB) has told me it is not my fault. Humans do these sad things a lot to my fellow canines and felines. I am sad that it happened to me because I know I am a good girl. I love people and I am really quite well behaved. AGB has told me there won’t be a problem finding a home for me. I will just have to be patient waiting on that very special family to fall in love with me. I can wait – what is that saying -- All good things come to those who wait?! I really look forward to that day AGB finds my awesome forever family. Please don’t make me wait too long!!
