Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Heinz found himself in search of a new home when his former owner passed away. At just 4 years old, he is still a very young Dachshund as they commonly live to age 16 and older. He is a little overweight and we are working on that. Totally house trained he won't even go in his outside run but waits until he is let out to the play yard. Heinz is a standard sized Dachshund and is 25 pounds. He sits up pretty when he wants something and he is a big lover. He still wants to pull on his leash so more training to walk slower will be needed. He is just a very happy and mannerly dog that will be an asset to any household.
