Brandy's Story...
Brandy is 13 years old and homeless. She would absolutely love a home of her own for however long she has left, whether through fostering or adoption. Brandy was a shelter favorite... a cuddler and a snuggler. She has likewise been an easy guest in the private boarding kennel where she is staying. Brandy had a chance at a foster home, but for some reason did not like the resident dog. We are thinking she may be dog selective so a dog meet is necessary. She may do best as an only dog so she can soak up all the attention she so enjoys receiving. If you can be this girl's angel, contact for an application is Beth at kaya1227@comcast.net

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brandy, a Frederick Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Frederick, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Frederick.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Frederick already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Frederick breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Frederick paves the way for another one to be saved.
