Here's what the humans have to say about me:
12-14-13 Adopted by an SGRR applicant!!!

Beethoven is a handsome 9-year old Golden Retriever/St. Bernard mix. He is ready for a kind and loving home after going through a very difficult and confusing time in his life. His former owner abandoned him at his previous home when they moved out and Beethoven ended up in a CT shelter in horrible condition; neglected, underfed, and filthy.
He has been in a foster home in NH for several weeks and he is transforming into the magnificent and dignified dog he was always meant to be. Beethoven has a great personality and loves, loves, loves his daily walks and being outdoors. He is good with people, other dogs, and fine with the resident cats -- although he does try to stare them down! Beethoven is in good health and is neutered, updated on his vaccinations, and tested negative for both Heartworm and Lyme. His foster family has fallen in love with this great guy, but with several other pets, they realize that Beethoven deserves more attention and exercise than they are able to provide. If you would like to give this wonderful boy the a great home and the best years of his life, please contact: Donna Clark at donna@arnne.org.
Beethoven is a Courtesy Posting and not an SGRR dog.
