Amy's Story...
Hi There! My name is Amy! I am a very pretty long hair tuxedo with green eyes. I was born about Sept. 9, 2013 in a backyard to a feral mom with my brother Oliver who is also a long hair solid black kitten and my brother Riley who is a short hair solid gray kitten. The people who live there took us kittens to Petsmart to find homes for us with Stray Cat Blues before our mom could move us so we would be safe. Our foster mom was called and she took us home. We live with her and lots of other kittens and two dogs. We have lived with her since Sept. 30.

If you want a kitten who is quiet and meek and hides, that’s not me! I have lots of personality and I am very outgoing! I let my foster mom know when I want to be picked up and petted and that’s a lot of the time! If she isn’t quick enough, I will climb up her leg! I also am not afraid to meow at her if I’m done being petted and I want down! She calls me “Feisty”! I like to sit on her lap when she is at the computer. I love to be held and carried around the house. I love to be petted under my chin. I love to sit on my foster mom’s shoulder. I love to walk around the house and see what’s going on. I’m very confidant. The kitchen is my favorite place because I love to eat!!! My foster mom’s nickname for me is Buddha Belly because I eat so much! Cooked chicken is my favorite treat!

I love to play with a cat teaser and any kind of a ball. I love to chase ping pong balls all over a room. I love to grab little stuffed mice and roll over on my back, growling at the mouse like I’m killing it!
I really like climbing into bed with my foster mom in the morning and having her pet me. You should hear me purr!

Amy is spayed, litterbox trained, has received age-appropriate vaccinations, and tested negative for FeLV and FIV.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Amy, a Colmar Domestic Longhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Colmar, or seeking a Domestic Longhair kitten from a breeder in Colmar.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colmar already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colmar breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colmar paves the way for another one to be saved.
