Merry's Story...
Hi friends. Our names are Merry and Jingles. We are two month old, female kittens. We are looking for a patient and loving forever home. We can both be a little shy and cautious at first and need a home that would be willing to take some time to help us adjust. Once we warm up to you, we will climb into your lap and become purr-machines. Jingles loves playing with toys, especially chasing a feather wand. Merry's favorite toy is her tail and her second favorite toy is her sister's tail. We both need to be in a home with another cat or kitten. Of course, our first choice would be to stay together. We would also be fine with a mellow, cat-friendly dog and even children 10 years or older. It would be great if you could stop by and we could get to know you better! Happy Holidays!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Merry, a Bellingham Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
