Lola's Story...
Hi I'm Lola, a black lab and I was found with my sister in the national forest in the fall. I weigh 60 pounds and am in excellent health at about 3 years of age. I would love a fenced yard as I love to play outside. I'm well behaved indoors and get along with kids and other dogs, but I think chasing cats is such fun! I am dependably house trained, leash trained, crate trained and foster mom thinks I have been obedience trained. I am really hoping for my forever home soon. I am in rescue with Happy Hound Rescue, a Minnesota non-profit, all volunteer organization with 5013C status pending. Our dogs all are heartworm tested negative and have drontal for worming, DA2PPvL+Cv vaccines for distemper, parvo, etc., bordatella vaccine for kennel cough, rabies vaccine, Capstar to kill fleas, Frontline to prevent fleas and ticks, spay or neuter, and HomeAgain microchip. Isabelle's adoption fee is $150.00 which is refundable for up to two weeks if the placement is not successful. View our website at http://www.petfinder.com/shelters/MN229.html to see our available dogs and the information we need to make a successful placement.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lola, a Osseo Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Osseo, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Osseo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Osseo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Osseo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Osseo paves the way for another one to be saved.
