Roscoe's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Roscoe's Story...
Poor sweet very old Roscoe lost his home and person of the last two years. How horrible and heartbreaking. Roscoe is a large black dog who the vet says is about 12 years old. He's a mix of German Shepherd, Lab and Border Collie, most likely. He weighs 70 pounds. Very healthy except for some arthritis in his back legs and mostly blind. He loves to sleep a lot and is very calm and loving. Great with kids of all ages (even little ones). He doesn't really like cats, but is harmless because he can not see or notice them. In his foster home he lives with six. He is very obedient and will sit, lay down, and beg. Any kind hearts our there who have room in their home and their hearts to make this boy a loving part of their family for whatever time he has left? Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roscoe, a richmond Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in richmond, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
