Colt's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Colt's Story...
Colt is a 2 year old purebred Great Dane that was surrendered by his owner. He is neutered and has been brought up to date on his vaccines, heartworm and stool tests. He came to us with a skin problem from a bad flea allergy but his skin is healing nicely. He is also microchipped.
This magnificent dog is very affectionate. Loves women a little better but warms up to men that are gentle very quickly. He is good with older kids. Good with other dogs and was raised with cats.
He is housebroken and not destructive.
Colt is a very big guy. He weighs 170 pounds. We are looking for a very caring family that will be able to afford to feed him and give him the proper care.. His adoption fee is $395. A vet reference is an absolute must.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Colt, a West Bloomfield Great Dane dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane for sale in West Bloomfield, or seeking a Great Dane dog from a breeder in West Bloomfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Bloomfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Bloomfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane breeders who help with Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Bloomfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
