Sweetness and delight - these two brothers. Cinnamon and Bailey have had a rough life for such sweet cats. Born to a feral mom, they were rescued at 5 weeks old and socialized to the point of adoption. Through no fault of their own, they were returned to TLC twice, and have lived happily at the sanctuary for the last two years, where they get along with every cat here! You will almost always find them entwined in each others arms, and often allowing another cat or cats to join them in the cuddle. Cinnamon is extremely affectionate to his human, and Bailey a little more aloof...but very talkative.- his nickname is "Rooster" because he often sounds like one! These two are welcome to stay at the sanctuary forever, as they have no bad habits. A forever home of their own where they don't have to vie for attention from their beloved humans would be nice fo for them, though. They are buff tabby/abyssinian mix cats born in May, 2005.

The Little Cats' Rescue (TLC-Rescue) was founded in 2003. We are an all volunteer staff with foster homes and "the sanctuary," where the "lifers" and those awaiting Petsmart space or to be adopted from here, live happily and freely together, uncaged. We are a member of No More Homeless Pets and The Animal Coalition of Tampa. TLC-Rescue is a "Petsmart Partner," with use of the adoption center in the New Port Richey (Trinity)location. We participate in an aggressive spay/neuter program and seek to educate, not just adopt! The Little Cats' Rescue is in need of volunteers in many areas: socialization, transportation, webmaster, clerical, fundraising, adoption center attendants, handy-person, kenneling, etc. TLC is a Florida 501(C)3 non-profit corporation, and all donations are tax deductible. Please email if you are able to help in any way - time, money, supplies, or all of the above.
Trinity, Florida Petsmart is temporary home to some of our rescues. We never seem to have the time to get everyone on the website! (hint hint for volunteers!) Visits to "the sanctuary" are by appointment only. An adoption application must be approved prior to the visit.
Our Adoption Process...
Please email for an application to littlecatsrescue@aol.com. We do check references, including your veterinarian. Pre and/or post adoption home visits may be conducted. Prior to adoption, all TLC cats are tested for FIV/FeLV, spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and healthy in every way! We diligently seek to match the needs and purrsonality of the individual cat with the adoptive family. We believe that the adoption is a life-time commitment and should not be entered into lightly.
