Lainie's Story...
Dumped at one of the TLC feral colonies, Lanie curled herself around our ankles one night and has been with us ever since. She's a really good girl, whose favorite passtime is lounging. She does like the counters for her cat naps...she isfully clawed and has never scratched inappropriately...in fact, she has no bad habits at all. We figure Lainie to be born about April, 2006.

About Our Rescue Group...
The Little Cats' Rescue (TLC-Rescue) was founded in 2003. We are an all volunteer staff with foster homes and "the sanctuary," where the "lifers" and those awaiting Petsmart space or to be adopted from here, live happily and freely together, uncaged. We are a member of No More Homeless Pets and The Animal Coalition of Tampa. TLC-Rescue is a "Petsmart Partner," with use of the adoption center in the New Port Richey (Trinity)location. We participate in an aggressive spay/neuter program and seek to educate, not just adopt! The Little Cats' Rescue is in need of volunteers in many areas: socialization, transportation, webmaster, clerical, fundraising, adoption center attendants, handy-person, kenneling, etc. TLC is a Florida 501(C)3 non-profit corporation, and all donations are tax deductible. Please email if you are able to help in any way - time, money, supplies, or all of the above.
Donate to Our Rescue Group...
We are a 501(c)3 non profit rescue and adoption organization with no paid staff.
Come Meet Our Pets...
Trinity, Florida Petsmart is temporary home to some of our rescues. We never seem to have the time to get everyone on the website! (hint hint for volunteers!) Visits to "the sanctuary" are by appointment only. An adoption application must be approved prior to the visit.
Our Adoption Process...
Please email for an application to littlecatsrescue@aol.com. We do check references, including your veterinarian. Pre and/or post adoption home visits may be conducted. Prior to adoption, all TLC cats are tested for FIV/FeLV, spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and healthy in every way! We diligently seek to match the needs and purrsonality of the individual cat with the adoptive family. We believe that the adoption is a life-time commitment and should not be entered into lightly.
We Serve the Following Cities, Towns, and/or Counties...
Pasco County, North West Hillsborough County, North Pinellas County
