Steve was rescued from Lafayette Animal Control, along with his litter mates and his mom when he was just a few weeks old back in November of 2007. Steve is an adorably handsome fluffy adult Maine Coon mix cat. Stevie has cute little tufts of fur in his ears. His paws are fluffy too and it makes him more slippery when running across the hardwood floor. Steve's tail is thick and fluffy. Steve is now four years old.
When Steve really, really wants attention, he can become a little talker. He will meow and meow until we hold him.
Steve is highly curious about everything, and loves to investigate anything.
Steve is not as adventurous as his brothers. He prefers to be held and loved on, then to explore. Steve would be quite content as a lap kitty.
Steve loves to play with our hair when we hold him. He also enjoys wrestling with blankets.
To be considered to adopt Steve, please email ahspets@gmail.com with your completed prescreening application. See below for link to download application.
Steve was adopted once. But, he was too energetic and too much kitten for his owner, so he was returned to us. Steve is now an adult and is still looking for another home. You can currently meet him at the Lafayette Petco.
