| Freya is a sweet girl about 2 years old who has had a rough start in life. She was living outdoors in rural Virginia and ended up pregnant. She happened by some luck to find the home of a 4Paws volunteer who fed her. After her kittens were born, Freya brought them around for food, and they were caught by the volunteer, taken to the vet for care and adopted out to loving homes. Miss Freya was also caught, vetted, spayed and her left ear was tipped, marking her as a spayed feral. During her recovery from spay surgery, she showed her calm and loving side to her foster people. She wasn’t feral at all. She enjoyed being petted and loved-on by her foster family. So she came to 4Paws to find her forever home. Freya enjoys being petted and brushed. She likes to roll over so you can reach more of her. She will find her way onto a lap, and loves to sleep with her people. She prefers to keep her four feet on a surface of her choosing—doesn’t really like to be picked up. She uses a sisal scratching post—not the furniture, and has perfect litter box habits. And a very cute Meow! Freya tolerates other cats, having shared space with them at her foster home. She especially enjoys young ones. She does not like dogs, possibly due to bad experiences with them in her outdoor-living days. She enjoys the attention of people of all ages who are kind and gentle with her. Freya is ready for her loving forever home. She is up to date on vaccines, has tested negative for FIV and FeLV, and is spayed. Is your home just the place for her? |
