Chance was found the day before Thanksgiving 2007 hiding under a car at a busy car dealership lot on 441. He had survived there for at least 6 months. He is sweet and loyal and loves to cuddle up in bed with you, he will even wait patiently until you join him. He enjoys being hugged and squeezed and needs reassurance daily.
UPDATE: Finally...this gorgeous boy is making his debut, almost a year after his rescue. You can visit this boy at the Pembroke Pines Petsmart where he currently resides. Wait until you meet this character...one word...LOVER, lover, lover. Once you meet him, that will be it. Recently he made friends with Chuey (adopted) and they love to wrestle and play together. Watch their All Star Boxing and Wrestling video. Don't think that they are fighting, they are great friends and play any time they are let out of their cages. They are so adorable to watch.
UPDATE: Chance has a life threatening illness called Hepatic Lipidosis. It is caused by an overweight cat having quick weight loss. He is currently undergoing extensive intensive care so that he can recover. Once recovered he will have NO signs of the disease. If you would like to help out with extremely high vet bills, please go to www.adoptastray.ws and donate whatever you are able to.
Update: Chance is having a remarkable recovery. If it weren't for the tube feeding and a bandage around his neck, you would not know he was sick. We expect 100% recovery. Chance is purring, active, friendly and really, really ready for his forever home.
UPDATE: Chance is fully recovered and just move back into the Pembroke Pines PetsMart until he find his forever home. His foster mom during his recovery reports that he followed her around the house like a dog and constantly looks up at her like he's trying to tell her something. He has a big purr and loves to curl up on the bed ...although he occasionally lets other cats on the bed too, he prefers to share it with humans!
Please consider giving this wonderful cat a permanent home
